Would you like to better understand and be able to truly care for yourself and others?

30 Nov-1 Dec : Workshop in Durban with Lynda Silk
Art of JIN SHIN JYUTSU: Getting to KNOW (Help) Myself

While it may sound like a martial art, Jin Shin Jyutsu is a wisdom tradition, mapped out through the body, offering harmonising principles that were utilised by many historic cultures. Wisdom is always simple: it relates to the vastness of existence and draws the common fundamental threads. When we have this understanding, life does not need to be overwhelming. If you want to be able to cope better with the day to day stresses of life, if beyond that you wish to discover more of your potential, to live life with less fear, less struggle, more creativity, understanding, more authenticity and joy, Jin Shin Jyutsu offers tools to support all this. Jin Shin Jyutsu can also help to alleviate pain and physical discomforts of day to day living and chronic conditions.

Through this weekend workshop we explore the fundamental qualities of energy, and understand how these blend together and support each other in creating all aspects of our being: our physical body, our emotional experiences and our mental tendencies. We discover inspiration, our capacity to digest our life experience and our ability to create what is uniquely ours and to let go of that which is not relevant. We learn to use simple holds, finger holds and holding sequences of energy centres through our body, to harmonise the availability of these qualities of energy and to release specific tensions inhibiting the free flow of life energy. In this way, Jin Shin Jyutsu helps us regardless of how well or happy we are, that we may live our lives more fully and with greater ease in our bodies, hearts and minds. It is always surprising how easy to make us of, and how all round helpful, Jin Shin Jyutsu can be.

As we wind up a long and stressful year, this is time to relax deeply, gently being present with yourself while learning simple everyday practical helpers to benefit you through the rest of your life, that life can be more full of fun and laughter.
