Study Groups

ShareContinued learning forums for Jin Shin Jyutsu students and practitioners

The journey of awareness, understanding and application of Jin Shin Jyutsu merely begins with a course or a workshop. When we begin to understand Jin Shin Jyutsu we recognise that we know very little and so the journey of understanding continues over a whole lifetime. I have appreciated the opportunities offered by "study groups", meeting either in the town where I live or through online forums, to grow through sharing awareness, understanding and experience.

In Durban
On the second Saturday of each month there is a "Holding Group" which meets, simply to hold, on the second Saturday of each month. Anybody is welcome, regardless of your level of experience of Jin Shin Jyutsu, in these afternoons you only use your own hands on your own body. The venue is an oncology practice in Ridge Road and the contact person is Catherine Botes. Click here to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Mary Burmeister's Book 1: Introducing Jin Shin Jyutsu IS
I have created a group for my past students to interact and di
scuss their learning, to share experiences, questions and insights. Sometimes even sharing the information we remember is helpful as each remember different snippets according to their interest and awareness at the time. So if you have completed a workshop or course in Mary Burmeister's Book 1 with me, you are invited to join the group below. Simply click the link  below to join.

An exploration of 12 Organ Function Energy in Cape Town

For practitioners who have completed at least one 5-day seminar you can join us approximately monthly meetings in Rondebosch to work through the 12 Organ Function Energy. If you're interested in joining the group please contact me. Places are limited due to contraints of space.

Pulse Listening in Cape Town
A group of practitioner students who attended the special topic seminar on Pulse Listening with Matthias Roth in Cape Town in 2009 were inspired to keep listening for the sake of listening itself. "It is the quality of the listening that creates space for change".  We meet weekly at my practice rooms in Rondebosch to simply and wholehearted listen to each others' pulses. Again, let me know if you're interested in joining.
